Autohullut.fi seuraa yhtä vuoden 2014 merkittävintä autonäyttelyä tiivisti. 2015 Mondial de l’Automobilessa Pariisissa julkistetaan taas paljon uutuuksia, joiden kuvia ja videoita julkaisemme reaaliajassa. Näyttely pidetään 4.10-19.10.2014, lehdistöpäivien ollessa 2.-3.10.2014.

We follow the 2014 Mondial de l’Automobile Paris / 2014 Paris Motor Show live and post pictures and videos constantly. The car show is open 4th-19th of October 2014, while the press event is held 2nd-3rd of October 2014.

The Jaguar XE has been revealed to the world during a star-studded event held at Earls Court, London.

A true driver’s car, the rear-drive Jaguar XE redefines the concept of the sports saloon thanks to its advanced lightweight construction, streamlined styling, luxurious interior, and outstanding ride and handling. The XE goes on sale in 2015, with the high-performance S model at the top of the range.

The XE S rewards drivers with the responsiveness and refinement of its supercharged 3.0-litre V6. Generating 340PS and 450Nm of torque, this high-revving engine is linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shift controls, giving the driver immediate access to the vehicle’s incredible reserves of power. Accelerating to 0-60mph in just 4.9 seconds, the XE S has an electronically-limited maximum speed of 155mph.

Tänään julkistettu Jaguar XE seuraa Jaguar XF:n jalanjälkiä. Se on aerodynaamisin Jaguar, joka on koskaan valmistettu, ilmanvastukertoimen ollessa vain 0.26. Uudelle modulaariselle alumiini-intensiiviselle Jaguar Land Rover -pohjalevylle rakennettu XE on myös erittäin kevyt, koska rakenteissa on käytetty runsaasti alumiinia. Uusi XE onkin Jaguarin tämän hetken kevyin ja jäykin malli. Moottorivaihtoehtoja on aluksi kaksi: 3.0-litraisella kompressoriahdetulla 340 hv V6-moottorilla varustettu XE S ja 2.0-litraisella nelisylinterisellä moottorilla varustettu 163 hv/380 Nm dieselversio, jonka kulutus tulee olemaan uskomattomat 3.7 l/100 km (CO2-päästöt 99g/km). Vaihteistoina toimivat 6-portainen manuaalivaihteisto ja 8-portainen automaattivaihteisto. Tarkemmat tiedot julkistetaan 2015 Pariisin autonäyttelyssä.
